Dear Quilly Girl, 

Halloween is exactly a week away and I heard you still haven’t figured out your costume! Please don’t stress because baby, I’ve got you. To celebrate the launch of Lamarr house, our newest Quilly community, I’m dropping a halloween horoscope of the coolest costumes that I can’t wait to see at house parties and clubs this season. 

1. 2010s aesthetic - Lamarr

Lamarr house is our newest Quilly house, constantly changing the game with their inventive and resourceful spirits. That’s why I know they’re the girls that would eat up a 2010s aesthetic costume. The 2010s were a defining era of our lives as Gen-Z women, and with the launch of the King Kylie collection from Kylie Cosmetics, its clear that they’re back and better than ever. Use this halloween to dress up the baddie your middle school self knew she could be and start practicing those cut creases!!! If makeup isn’t really your thing, you can always layer bralettes under tank tops and throw your hair into a messy sock bun for that iconic tumblr look. 

2. Joan of Arc - Tubman

I can’t think of a better costume for our Tubman girlies. Guided by bravery, strategy, and determination, Tubman House is full of the girls who remind you of the real bad-ass Joan of Arc was. Without a doubt, this costume will be sweeping the halloween scene this year and I’m here for it. There are tons of ways to make the most bad-ass woman in mideval history come to life, but a few essentials are a chainmail head drape (make it from safety pins!!), a sword, and all things silver.

3. Green M&M - Hypatia

We know her. We love her. And I can’t think of a better house than Hypatia to embody the Green M&M this halloween. Her getup is a sneakily simple costume that has rangeeeee. Opt in to some green body paint and white micro shorts for a bold statement, or keep this in your back pocket as a last minute endeavour with any green top you’ve got lying around and a cut-out “m”. Either way, everyone immediately knows who you’re supposed to be! 

4. Lara Croft - King 

Members of King House, you don’t just enter rooms, but charge into them with purpose, adrenaline, and a to-do list already half completed. Energetic, driven, and always on the move, your Halloween destiny aligns perfectly with Lara Croft, the original adventure icon. This Halloween season you’re all about action. You’ll be the one tightening straps, leading the hike to the party, and convincing everyone to take the shortcut through “uncharted territory.” Your stamina is unmatched, your confidence is contagious, and your enthusiasm could probably power a small village.

5. Marie Antoinette - Kahlo

Kahlo House, your blend of creativity, emotional expression, and ironclad resilience makes this costume feel like destiny. Whether you’re channeling the real Marie Antoinette or her dreamy pastel incarnation from Sofia Coppola’s film, no one commits to aesthetic excess quite like you. Expect mood boards, lace scavenger hunts, and a trail of ribbon, pearls, and satin in your wake. You turn heartbreak into masterpieces and silk into statements, and this look is your latest canvas. Like Princess Bubblegum herself, you’re the kind to quietly map out the plan and charge into the unknown if it means protecting your people. You don’t just wear the crown, you earn it with compassion as your compass and logic as your lantern. This Halloween, embody PB’s candy-coated brilliance: sweet on the surface, steel at the core.

7. Tooth Fairy - Beauvoir

Members of Beauvoir House, this Halloween you float through the night like a glitter-dusted philosopher quietly observing, questioning the nature of tradition, and then reinventing it entirely. Like the Tooth Fairy, you move independently, slipping between realms of imagination and reality, collecting tiny relics of human growth and leaving behind small but transformative magic.

8. French Kiss - Angelou 

Elegant and emotionally attuned, members of Angelou House speak softly but leave a lasting impact.
